Open Campus in 2022

Open Campus was held on July 17, 2022. Many people visited the Hydraulics, Coastal and Environmental Engineering Laboratory again this year.

　First, we explained the laboratory's efforts using numerical simulation videos and other materials.

In the open channel experiment, we had the students actually touch the flow and feel the difference in the way water flows between sub-critical flow and super-critical flow.

They also observed an experiment on wave dissipation on an artificial reef using a large 30-meter-long wave-generating tank located outside.
